ANTES Y DESPUÉS. NUEVO DISCO DE ARTURO LLEDÓ CON NUESTRA GUITARRA MIDI. COLABORACIÓN DE TONINHO HORTA.

“Antes y después” es el próximo disco de Arturo Lledó que se podrá conseguir a partir de enero o febrero y cuya presentación tendrá lugar en el Regina en San Lorenzo del Escorial. Más información la podrán encontrar en: www.myspace.com/arturolledo

“Las cosas que sueñan están más cerca de lo que pensamos. Con este disco he conseguido grabar con alguno de los músicos que admire con 18 años: Paulo Russo, Toninho Horta, , Hugo Fattoruso, Mauro Senise, … También Armando Marçal, quien fue percursionista durante 10 años de Pat Metheny, guitarrista que sigue asombrándome.

Mi trabajo es el resultado de mi persistencia y de la fe que tengo en la música como expression artística. Este disco pretende dar un paso más en mi carrera y en la evolución de mi trabajo.

Grabar este disco fue una experiencia muy intensa, pero a la vez fluída. Esto se debió a que fui facilitándoles por Internet las partituras y los MP3 de los temas, con lo cual, cuando llegué al estudio estaban todos preparados y con muchas ganas de grabar. Emotivos encuentros de Marçal con Hugo, de Hugo con Toninho, de Toninho con Mauro, fueron los responsables del “buen rollo” que hubo durante toda la grabación.

Fue la oportunidad de descubrir que los músicos, los grandes músicos, son gente sencilla honesta, humilde, personas que creen en lo que hacen, en una forma de vida y, sobre todo, en la música.

Gracias a todos los responsables de conseguir que este proyecto salga adelante”.

“Things which dream are the closest to our own thoughts. On this disk I have managed to record a number of the musicians I admired when I was 18: Paulo Russo, Toninho Horta, , Hugo Fattoruso, Mauro Senise, … Also Armando Marçal who, for 10 years, was the percussionist for Pat Metheny, a guitar player who still continues to amaze me.

My work is the result of my persistence and my faith in music as a means of artistic expression. This recording is intended to be the next step in my career and in the development of my work.

Making this recording was a very intense, but at the same time very uncomplicated experience, due to the fact I was able to provide [my fellow artists] with the scores and MP3s of the themes via the internet, so that, when they arrived at the studio they were well prepared and ready to record. The emotional reunions between Marçal and Hugo, Hugo and Toninho and Toninho and Mauro were at the root of the happy atmosphere which prevailed throughout the recording.

The event provided an opportunity to discover that musicians, that is, really great musicians, are honest and humble people whose actions are the means by which they create their lives and, above all, their music.
