PACO DE LUCÍA

Desde el corazón y desde la admiración: 
La noticia de la muerte de Paco de Lucía nos ha entristecido mucho en Casa Ramírez. Guardo en mi recuerdo con cariño las veces que ha venido a nuestra casa por su amistad con mi padre, también cuando mi madre y yo asistimos a la celebración de su boda en Amsterdam y la visita que, en cierta ocasión, hice a su casa. En aquella época yo trabajaba de fotógrafo, y Paco me envió un cliente que había venido de Estados Unidos para hacer un trabajo sobre él, y en vista de que necesitaba un fotógrafo me recomendó a mí. Está de más decir que ha sido una gran pérdida para el mundo de la música, pues todos lo sabemos. Pero que también hemos perdido a un personaje muy especial, es algo de lo que estoy totalmente segura.

The news of the death of Paco de Lucia has saddened us very much in Casa Ramirez. Saved in my memory fondly the times he has come to our house because of his friendship with my father, also when my mother and I attended the celebration of his wedding in Amsterdam and the visit I once made to his home. At that time I worked as a photographer, and Paco sent me a customer who had come from the USA to do a job on him, and seeing that he needed a photographer Paco recommended to me. Needless to say it has been a great loss to the music world, as we all know. But we have also lost a very special character, this is something I'm totally secure.
